John, 54, has documented his romantic trip on Instagram, giving fans a taste of what they’re missing as he uploaded scenes showing a tranquil, crystal clear lake with plush trees surrounding it.
Revealing he’d just been for a dip, he wrote in the caption: “A little knackered after the morning swim .. but worth it #honeymoon #swim #sun #blueskies.”
Eagle-eyed fans could spot the water dripping from his forehead as he looked straight into the camera.
Meanwhile, it seems his new wife Lisa, 47, favoured the pool not open lake as she relaxed in their complex.

The cheeky Aussie chef snapped a picture of her rear, while she was wearing a bright red bikini, in an image he captioned: “Bottoms up!”
A second snap, included in the same post, saw the pair posing inside for a cute selfie.
Lisa flashed a beaming smile as she posed wearing a pink vest top and a personalised ‘L and J’ necklace.
John meanwhile showed off his holiday glow and wore an unbuttoned shirt.

He added further detail of their trip and put: “A truly wonderful honeymoon with my girl @lisafaulknercooks and what a great place to spend it

Their accomodation, situated on Mauritius’ Coastal Road, overlooks vast lagoons and triple bay beaches.
It also boasts two private beaches and two swimming pools, as well as restaurants offering a “global culinary journey.”

Lisa meanwhile chose to share more sweet details of their Caribbean getaway, including an adorable smiling snap which hid a very painful secret.
Despite the fact the pair looked elated at their picturesque beach day on the golden sands Lisa, who is also a chef, told how she had wrecked her back on a wakeboard.
She told fans: “I nearly didn’t put this pic up as I know how ?it can be seeing people on holiday especially in January but it’s my honeymoon and I want to celebrate my husband @johntorodecooks and the fact that without the lows we can’t appreciate the highs and also that in the pic I’m smiling though I have just done my back in falling off a wakeboard ?”
She later appeared to have recovered and posed by a huge four poster day bed, sipping a coconut.

Hinting things hadn’t perhaps been as dreamy on Honeymoon as expected, she wrote: “Nothing like fresh coconut water!!
“After torrential rain for the last few days the sun has come out. Happy Thursday.”
Finally uploading a trio of shots showing John in his pink swim shorts, a smiling selfie and the pair posing by a giant palm tree, Lisa gushed over the end of their break.
In a hugely sweet comment she added: “We have spent the whole time just us together laughing and chatting and kissing, enjoying each other’s company in the sunshine and the rain. I love you @johntorodecooks thank you for a wonderful honeymoon.”
