LYME Regis lifeboat crew has been launched twice this week to reports of people cut off by the tide.
The first shout came at 12.25pm on Friday after coastguards received reports of six people cut off by the tide below Spittles, east of Lyme Regis.
After launching it was soon established that all six had managed to reach safety.
The volunteer crew was launched again on Saturday afternoon to reports of three people cut off by the tide at Freshwater Bay, near West Bay.
Sea conditions were rough and the lifeboat crew was stood down when coastguards ashore assisted the three people to safety.
Nick Marks, lifeboat operations manager, said: “Conditions around the coastline this weekend are challenging with tidal surges, large surf, strong rip currents and cliff falls.
“It is very likely that swimming, bodyboarding or surfing will not be safe.
“Anglers, walkers and those taking photographs are reminded to keep a safe distance from the water. As always, if you see someone in difficulty please call 999 and ask for the coastguard.”
This was the 15th emergency call answered by Lyme Regis lifeboat crew so far this year and came as many of the volunteers were celebrating the wedding of crew member Tom Crabbe and his partner Catherine.
