Port Macquarie Bodyboarding Association holds first competition day for 2019 at Town Beach – Port Macquarie News

PORT Macquarie Bodyboarding Association held their first competition day of the year on Sunday at Town Beach. Brody Brockmann took out the open men’s division while Mitch Atherton secured the win in the juniors. Dylan Short held off Rex Carrol in a countback for second position in the drop knee division as Fraser Smith proved too good. Tallis Keft took out the groms and cadets division while Steve Wasson was too strong in the masters. PMBA president Clayton Pickworth said it was an encouraging start to the year. “We had good, punchy conditions for bodyboarding with a solid three feet of east swell,” he said.
