Wakeboarders and surfers from around the world gathered at Ford Lake in Ypsilanti Saturday for the Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour.
The event, which included wakeboarding and wakesurfing categories, was the third stop on a national tour that will end in Boise, Idaho on Aug. 3. Australian-born Nic Rapa, Noah Flegel of Bend, Oregon and Tyler Higham of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida took the gold, silver and bronze in the wakeboarding event, respectively.
Sean Silvera of Orlando, Florida, Jake Caster of Boston, Massachusetts and Flegel took the top three spots in the wakesurfing category.
Supra Boats president Rick Tinker was on hand to present medals to the runner-ups and an electric guitar to the top spot surfer for each event.
