The biggest draw of this mosaic-decorated hotel, the brainchild of a French artist, is the view of Amber Fort from its rooftop restaurant. It’ll take you a couple of meals at least, if not days, before you become accustomed to it, and actually focus on the food in front of you. Speaking of the food, the menu is a different one every day, and made with locally-sourced, fresh ingredients. The location is also quite advantageous, being within walking distance of the fort, the elephant temple , a step-well and a museum. This homestay in the village of Parule in Sindhudurg, in the Konkan region is tucked away in the lap of nature.
