A 42-year-old man has died after being injured while wakeboarding on the Hawkesbury River. Emergency services were called to a caravan park on Hall Street about 3.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, January 28), following reports a person had been injured, according to police. “NSW Ambulance paramedics attended, however attempts to resuscitate the 42-year-old man were unsuccessful and he died at the scene,” police said in a statement. “Officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.” A report will now be prepared for the Coroner.
