Elite Cable Park opens in Auburndale

On July 13, Aktion Parks, a subsidiary of Correct Craft, opened Elite Cable Park, on Lake Myrtle, 330 Denton Ave., Auburndale. Auburndale mayor Tom Pospichal, Auburndale commissioners Dorothea Taylor Bogert, Keith Cowie, Richard Hamann and Bill Sterling and Polk County commissioner Bill Braswell, and watersports industry executives attended the ribbon cutting ceremony. Afterward, the park opened and locals rode the cable. There was a waterslide, face painting and other  activities. Tantrums Lakeside Grill, Elite Cable Park’s restaurant, also opened July 13  The park is staffed with experienced coaches offering lessons in wakeboarding, waterskiing, and other watersports of all skill levels. Estates at Carpenters earns bronze award

The Estates at Carpenters, a Life Plan Community, 1001 Carpenters Way, Lakeland, was recognized as a 2019 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living. The Estates at Carpenters is a Life Plan Community offering independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing care and rehabilitation on site.
