Here’s What a $100,000 Per Night Private Island Rental Gets You in the Maldives – Travel + Leisure

You’ll get your very own overwater bungalows, restaurants, spa, and more.

Dreaming of your own private villa in the Maldives? How about a whole island?

The Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort, located in the midst of the Indian Ocean, has an incredible buy-out package for anyone who wants to reserve their own private island. The tropical stay has 110 luxury suites and villas, and all of them (including the gorgeous island itself) can be all yours — for $100,000 per night.

While this package comes with a hefty price tag, you can also invite all your friends and family if you want to split the cost. Plus, there are a ton of amazing perks that come along with it.

Not only does this package include exclusive use of the island, but also 30-minute speedboat transfers to/from Velana International Airport, daily breakfast, access to facilities at sister resort Anantara Veli or to another private island called “Gulhifushi,” a 24-hour resort physician, and a wide range of activities that will suit any guest’s needs or tastes.

The island has a number of delicious dining options and restaurants (all with breathtaking views), as well as fun water activities to enjoy during the day such as surfing, snorkeling, water skiing, wakeboarding, jet skiing, sailing, parasailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and many more.

But if you’re looking to stay on land, you can also relax in the resort’s infinity pool, visit the spa, work out in the fitness center, play tennis, practice yoga and meditation, take a cooking class, or just lay out on the beach to catch some sun. The resort even has an outdoor cinema with huge bean bag chairs to sit back and enjoy a good movie under the stars.

If you’re really looking for adventure, the island also provides sunset cruises, dolphin excursions, fishing, and scuba diving.

The resort also has a number of kid-friendly activities for the little ones to enjoy, like a special outdoor play space, kids cooking classes, and fun wellness and recreation activities. There’s even a babysitting service.

There is a minimum of a three consecutive nights’ stay (at $100,000 per night), for any group size, in order to get in on the package. There seems to be no limit on the number of guests per group.
